Pine Feroda

Pine Feroda is the collective name used by three professional printmakers working together in the South West of England creating large scale, dramatic woodblock prints.

The three artists are Merlyn Chesterman, Judith Westcott and Ian Philips.

'Pine Feroda's work is intensive and skilful. The scale of these prints is such that special techniques have had to be devised to ensure that every aspect of the work is well controlled and clean. The entire process is carried out by hand and the printing of an edition takes the group several days of focused work. This collaboration is incredibly effective, an unusual way of working which combines great talent to create the most beautiful and impressive results.’
