Andrew Pavitt studied fine art at Chelsea School
of Art. He has worked as an illustrator and more recently as a printmaker. The
British landscape painters of the mid 20th century have always been an
inspiration, alongside lesser known decorative designers like Peggy Angus. The
Art Deco movement and Scandinavian design have also influenced Andrew's style.
Shape, pattern and carefully chosen colours are all used to help describe the
sweeping beauty and drama found in the British countryside. Andrew now lives
and works in the city of London.
