Urban Myths V - A memory of elephants in King’s Cross

This one came from a story that Mychael's daughter recounted to him about a time when animals were walked to London Zoo from King’s Cross station. It was a fortuitous gift that ‘memory’ is one of the collective nouns for elephants.

This series encompasses varying takes on the term urban myth. They range from popular London urban myths and famous legends or people to deconstructed classical mythology in urban settings. They employ a variety of processes including drypoint, etching, aquatint, spit-biting, sugar-lift and carborundum and are all printed on tea-stained Japanese gampi chine-colle.
