Sonia Rollo was educated at the university of Glasgow, graduating in 1968 with a degree in Botany. She worked for several years in Publishing as the editor of a scientific journal.

With a background in biology, there is no wonder that Sonia's work captures the very essence of her subjects, bringing them to life on paper, time and time again.

Her interest in animals started in childhood with a pig called Hilary and two geese called Charlie and Cassandra.
